First Impression of Powder Blender

After exams were finished this semester i bought myself a present; brush and pencil's powder blender! i love working in colored pencil but i'm impatient so I've been obsessed with trying the powder blender for a few months now.

I love it! it is so easy to use and its such a stress free medium. YOu can burnish while still being able to add more layers because of the texture fixative. YOu can work light to dark and can even completely erase what you have blended out (as long as you haven't applied texture fixative yet)!

Here's the progression of my latest project:

Blocking in all the color was very easy with this medium!

The hardest part was probably getting the colors to darken up.

But i found if i didn't blend the last layers with the powder i could get a lot darker
